Lacey Evans literally threw herself into the mammoth match she found herself part of early doors - Becky Lynch's irish whip on the floor was made twice as impactful thanks to a superb bump by the 'Sassy Southern Belle'. Evans made even more of her opportunity from there, too.

Smartly booking the bout before Becky's battle with Charlotte Flair, WWE afforded Lacey the opportunity to get over on her own terms rather than simply picking the bones, with the challenger giving as good as she got against 'The Man' before narrowly succumbing to a worthy defeat with a quick tapout to the Dis-Arm-Her.

Becky's offence wasn't the most dynamic, but this was arguably the most important match she'd had in months - there'd been reasonable criticisms of her ability to carry others in the manner her fellow Four Horsewomen had in the past - and she delivered huge in the task at hand.

Evans looked the real deal early doors, showing personality and poise beyond her experience thanks in-part to Lynch's selflessness on defence. So far so good for both. And speak of so good...
