Another perfect use of the talent available, Elias' extended electric interlude after kabonging 'The Big Dog' with his acoustic guitar before their planned match allowed for premium banter before a rapidfire routine win for Roman Reigns.

One senses there may be more to come between these two as a way to build barriers between Roman's inevitable clash with Shane McMahon, but if this was a first chapter, it was at least welcome in its abbreviated form.

Many savaged WrestleMania for its daunting and exhausting length, but WWE continue to pace the smaller-scale shows with immaculate precision. Money In The Bank's bouts were actively serviced by the booking, rather than made to suffer.

Never should a double figures card feature double figures runtimes throughout, and the nine seconds Reigns and Elias spent in an actual match were more than enough to tell this month's story. Not least as the crowd needed time to calm down from the Bayley drama and rev up for the surprisingly superb match ahead...
