11 WWE Superstars Who Were Given Huge Contracts

2. The Rock

Like some others on this list, Dwayne Johnson is of such a status that he has a very unique contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. He€™s not even technically a part of the WWE roster, yet Johnson has still managed to get himself a nice little contract with Vince McMahon. Not only does he have first class travel and accommodation paid for, plus a percentage of merchandise sales, but 2014 saw him take home over $3.5 million from an extremely loose part-time WWE deal. When The Rock returns then it always elicits a huge response, and when he€™s advertised ahead of time then he brings all kinds of eyes to the product. Many could argue on whether such a large amount of dollars could be spent elsewhere or spread across some of the full-time wrestlers who are on the road week-in, week-out. Regardless, Dwayne Johnson is big money these days, whether it€™s in the wrestling world or if it€™s dominating movie box offices.
