11 WWE Title Changes That MUST Happen In 2023
8. SmackDown Tag Team Championship - Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Of all the title changes on this list, here’s the one you’d bet money on. When the Bloodline finally turn on Sami Uso, it’s going to be a heartbreaking end to WWE’s best story in years. The good news: WrestleMania 39 will almost certainly see the lifelong best pals finally take the tag belts from the dastardly Usos.
The tale of Kevin and Sami is a saga for the ages, the rare wrestling story that is returned to over and again, but never gets boring. They’ve explored it from every angle imaginable, but this bittersweet reunion could be the best yet.
Sami, as per, has been far too trusting, and when that blows up in his face, it’ll be a joy to see his old friend KO pick him back up, dust him off, and go to war with Jimmy and Jey. From an in-ring perspective, too, this ought to be fantastic. The Usos are as good as they’ve ever been, a brilliantly intense team who know exactly what they’re doing and would benefit from fresh competition.
Expect this one to tear the house down in California come April - it’s no less than any of the superstars deserve.
