11 WWE Title Changes That MUST Happen In 2023
7. Raw Tag Team Championship - The Street Profits
Whether Kevin and Sami take both sets of belts or just one, presumably WWE will revert to the brand split when it comes to the currently-unified titles in 2023. 2022 wasn’t particularly kind to the Street Profits, who had plenty of fun matches, including a minor cracker at WrestleMania, but failed to do much of note thanks to the usual foes: bad booking and injuries.
While it feels dangerous to suggest the dissolution of a proper tag team in a company that suffers from a lack of them, it’s likely the Street Profits will break up at some point (this would actually make more sense now than before, as the oft-underrated Angelo Dawkins’ singles skills has been spotlighted somewhat of late).
Before this happens, though, they’re well worthy of one more run with the belts. Angelo and Montez have been among the most consistent workers on WWE’s books, but have never felt like the top team thanks to the New Day and Uso shaped elephants in the room.
They’re young, exciting, and popular - they could genuinely be the future of the business, and deserve a far more prominent 2023 than the past 12 months have given them.
