11 WWE Title Changes That MUST Happen In 2023

9. Women’s Tag Team Championship - Toxic Attraction

Remaining in the NXT sphere for a moment, let’s focus on one of the belts (or pairs thereof) that WWE hasn’t yet managed to figure out. At present, the belts are on Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai, two immensely talented wrestlers who aren’t able to do a great deal with the opportunity.

Why? The same issue that has plagued the division for years: a lack of proper women’s tag teams. WWE consistently pairs up straggling singles stars, gives them a brief run, then breaks them up. It’d be fun to see Sasha and Naomi return and grab the gold, but it’d be better still to see an actual team do the business.

For the afore-alluded to Mandy Rose reasons, Toxic Attraction no longer have too much to do in NXT, and the pairing of Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne feel ready for a main event push. By developmental standards, they’re seasoned, and the pair have a great grasp on their characters, as well as an easy going chemistry.

Triple H must be eager to show that he can transition NXT talent to the big time (something Vince failed to do time and again), and the addition of an established, talented team would be a shot in the arm for a division that needs it.
