11 WWF Title Challengers No One Remembers
8. Ted Dibiase Jr.
The son of the Million Dollar Man was one of the six men set to open the 2010 Elimination Chamber show, and of those men - also including John Cena, Kofi Kingston, Sheamus, Triple H, and Randy Orton - Ted Dibiase Jr. would be the only one not to win a world championship.
He did manage to do something of note in the match though, retrieving a lead pipe from his partner in Legacy, Cody Rhodes, accidentally hitting Randy Orton with it, and then deciding to pin Legacy's leader anyway.
This mishap would eventually lead to the end of Legacy, a stable composed entirely of the sons of wrestling's greats. The three members would drift apart, leading to a climactic triple threat match at WrestleMania XXVI in Arizona, which, unfortunately, Randy Orton won.
Ted seemed to have the brass behind him, as WWE decided to have him be the lead actor in their film, The Marine 2. They had also given Ted a dedicated push in a babyface role, with him losing the isolation of his upper class background to tailgate with fans, calling them the DiBiase Posse. Even with all that going for him, Ted would go on to decide that wrestling just wasn't for him, leaving the business in 2013.
