Remember when you were a teenager?

The rose-tinted view is great, but the actual experience wasn’t. If you were a boy, you had to carefully navigate various social landmines. You felt like you had to protect your tentative grasp of masculinity with everything you had.

You weren’t allowed to do anything. You were not allowed to go through puberty. Heaven forbid your voice squeaked when talking in the classroom; if that happened, your friends, very loudly, would question the location of your testicles. If you had acne, sorry, loser. It was off to the Victorian freak show with you. The most self-conscious time of your life was fairly awful, because everybody else was self-conscious, and they wanted to make themselves feel better at your expense - that, or deflect attention away from themselves. If you tripped up in school, that was your personality. You were the gawky misfit with two left feet. Nobody will ever sleep with you, you geek! You had a momentary lapse in concentration that lasted all of a second! Did you enjoy your trip, you assh*ole?!

Those within WWE - a pathetic boys’ club, then, now, forever - never grew out of that phase.

At Elimination Chamber 2017, JBL made his entrance to the ring to perform commentary duties. He did a little dance, and then tripped up. This was the funniest thing Vince McMahon had ever seen, obviously. He was evidently still laughing days later because, on 205 Live, taped on the following Tuesday, WWE named an enhancement talent ‘Tripp Bradshaw’.
