11. Rusev - Umaga
On the surface, this one may seem purely physical, as both The Samoan Bulldozer and The Bulgarian Brute have similar builds and both employ a similar stiff in-ring style. They each utilize kicks and strikes in a comparable fashion and have surprising speed and agility for someone their size. And while those similarities are where the majority of this comparison comes from, theres a little more to it than that. Both men were saddled with gimmicks that were incredibly successful out of the gate, propelling them to featured spots on the card within a year of their respective character debuts. However, without some tweaking, theres a clearly-defined ceiling that each man will reach. In the same vein as a man portrayed as a Samoan savage, a jingoistic anti-American has a relatively short shelf-life, especially in 2015. Unless theres some drastic alterations made to Rusevs character he may not advance much further than he already has.
