6. Big E

When Big E's time as AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler's bodyguard came to an end, he seemed poised for a huge singles push. He did win the Intercontinental Championship from Curtis Axel, but dropped it to Wade Barrett and then embarked on a losing streak against Rusev. Soon after that, E's middling singles run transformed into an all-time great tag career as one-third of the New Day.

Still, longtime fans of Big E know that he has a lot more to offer as a singles superstar. In his NXT days, he was a Goldbergian monster who got over huge by demolishing all opponents in his path and counting his own five second pins because three ain't enough.

That absolute beast still lurks within the merrily gyrating beef that is Big E's body, and it's only a matter of time until he tires of being a figure of fun and decides to go back to inspiring awe. He's going to throw Kofi Kingston into the sun, hit Xavier Woods so hard he becomes a fine red mist, and then he's going to channel all of that power toward capturing one of WWE's top prizes.

Time Until Championship: 2 years.
