Reigns is WWEs golden child they see a lot of money in him. The plan for WrestleManias main event is still for Reigns to defeat the mighty Brock Lesnar, in the main event, to win his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Not bad. He has the look, the heritage and passable wrestling ability. Just prior to his September injury, though, crowd support seemed to dwindle. There are several theories as to why this is: he was being forced down peoples throats, some people prefer his former Shield partners Rollins and Ambrose, some fans want his WrestleMania spot to be Daniel Bryans something Batista found out the hard way and some fans are just contrarians. Whatever the reason, Reigns will be hoping that absence made the heart grow fonder and his Royal Rumble win and subsequent Road to WrestleMania is well received. WWE is depending on it.
