12 Most Alarming Physique Transformations In WWE History
10. Hardcore Holly
Like The Rock, you can never accuse Bob 'Hardcore' Holly of being out-of-shape during his WWE tenure. His physique did, however, go through several noticeable and alarming changes over the years. When Holly debuted as Sparky Plugg in 1994 he was in good shape, sure, but he was a lot leaner than he would become during the Attitude Era.
Holly was used in midcard and enhancement roles for his first few years in the company but that all changed when, according to his autobiography The Hardcore Truth, he started hitting the gas in 1998. Hardcore's new muscles coincided with renewed interest and a decent push. Figures, huh?
Holly was a featured player in the hardcore division in 1999 and made an appearance on pretty much every pay-per-view that year. Holly's muscles continued to expand and he was probably at his biggest in 2005, aged 42. Holly wasn't just a juice-head, however, as detailed in his book he ate right and trained hard, abstaining from alcohol and junk food. Still, his ten year transformation was something to behold. It could also account for his rage, as Holly was often involved in backstage scuffles, including beating up Rene Dupree because the Frenchman almost made him lose his driver's licence (though perhaps that's understandable).
