Only WCW could screw this one up.

Foisting a country music gimmick on Virgil, Curt Hennig, the Windhams, and Bobby Duncum Jr. was stupid enough, but how could you NOT know that a southern fan base would cheer these goons over Master P's ill-conceived No Limit Soldiers in a battle of Guys Who Can't Sing vs. Guys Who Don't Sing?

And so, The West Texas Rednecks managed to become the faces after performing "Rap is Crap" as a takedown of the No Limit Soldiers. Even channeling them Duke boys and calling themselves "Good Ol' Boys" couldn't overturn their time as the unlikely heroes of the wrestling music scene.
