12 Sensational UFC Bouts In March That You Must Watch
5. Mike Grundy vs. Makwan Amirkhani - UFC Fight Night 171
Although England isn't known for having the strongest wrestlers in the world, there's always an exception to the rule somewhere and Mike Grundy is probably that exception. Unlike the vast majority of mixed martial artists who come from there, the 32-year old from Wigan is a brilliant wrestler, even winning a Bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Following his success in the grappling art, he jumped into the cage and amassed an 11-1 record before signing to the UFC and battering fellow Brit, Nad Narimani, in his debut for the promotion. His second fight inside the Octagon will have him come up against another wrestler Finnish fighter, Makwan Amirkhani.
Amirkhani started his UFC career extremely brightly, but lost in crushing fashion in his last fight against Shane Burgos. In fact, the beating he took to the body was so bad, it mentally broke the SBG Ireland fighter. Now that his breaking point is clear to see, it'll be very interesting to see how both men approach the fight.
