12 Things You Need To Know About Sting's WWE Deal And Future
11. Part Time
If you're looking forward to seeing more of Sting in WWE now that he's debuted... don't get your hopes up. Sting is signed to a part time deal and will only be appearing in limited dates. It's a bit like Brock Lesnar's deal, but for way less money. It wouldn't even surprise us that much if we now don't see him again until WrestleMania 31, although appearances during the Road To WrestleMania are probable. It doesn't really matter too much that Sting won't be appearing that much. His whole gimmick in WCW was that of a shadowy stalker and he famously went a year without any real action before returning to topple the NWO. WWE can play much of the same narrative. Have the dark vignettes and shadowy teases. Dim the lights down and tease a man stalking the rafters during Triple H segments. It'll make great TV - the production crew can have a blast!
