12 Things To Expect From The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar 2

2. Both Men Disappear Until January

The conclusion of the SummerSlam feud is going to be the sudden disappearance of both men. Once SummerSlam goes off the air, that'll be the last you'll see of either of them until January 2016. Lesnar's limited deal only calls for so many dates and he'll have fulfilled his quota (at least by last year's standards) after SummerSlam is over. He can take off until January when his booking cycle starts again. The Undertaker is in the same position. He only works so many dates and has no reason to stick around into September. His SummerSlam story is a one off run to give the WWE a boost. Once he's dispatched of Lesnar, he'll have no reason to be on television again until his usual run in WrestleMania season. In some ways, those absences aren't a bad thing. Things are kept special by their rarity. If fans had Taker and Lesnar on the roster all year round, events like SummerSlam and WrestleMania wouldn't feel so big.
