More for the history it made rather than the outstanding quality it left behind, the WrestleMania 35 triple threat "Winner Take All" main event between Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch reflected an overdue reward for three of the many that had earned it over a transcendent decade for women's wrestling.

WWE weren't necessarily the architects of all of that, but they get the stage and the profile to toast it, and that's exactly what the occasion proved to be. Becky lifting both belts as the show (finally) went off the air reflected something far bigger than wrestling, and it took a deserved donation by the company of its 'Grandest Stage' to ensure it.

The work isn't remotely done, but history will highlight 2019 as the year some substantial barriers fell. And on that...
