12 Ups & 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Mar 12)

Ups...

12. Bless These Pests

The IIconics are great at their job, and that job is being really bloody annoying.

Last night saw them cut a blink-and-you'll-miss-it promo in which they ripped on Sonya and Mandy for "always tripping over each other," then aimed their targets at Sasha Banks and Bayley. They claimed the WWE Women's Champions were running from them, chastising the popular duo for failing to show up on SmackDown so far, then challenging them to a future title defence on the blue brand. Cue: catchphrase, pose, and cut.

Nothing earth-shattering here, but Billie Kay and Peyton Royce got the job done in less than a minute. They got their characters across, commented on the Deville/Rose split, and attempted to establish themselves as The Boss & Hug Connection's next challengers. Good job, those two.
