12 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Royal Rumble 2016

6. An Uninspired #2

Seriously, Rusev? Rusev was the #2 entrant into the Rumble, making him the first line of defense against Roman Reigns. Sure, we can say that the Bulgarian Brute is a tough man and can hold his own in the ring, but it€™s not like Reigns hasn€™t manhandled Rusev on multiple occasions in the past two months. And true to form, Roman eliminated Rusev before the #3 entrant came out. At worst, it was a callback to last year, when Reigns and Rusev were the last two in the 2015 Rumble. But still, this was an opportunity for the Authority to stack the deck even further and get Reigns out early, and they went with Rusev. Bravo.
