12 Ways Famous Wrestling Streaks Ended

1. Brock Lesnar Defeats The Undertaker €“ WrestleMania 30

It took twenty-two years, but someone finally defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Sure, The Dead Man lost matches at various stages throughout his career, but when WrestleMania season rolled around, he took everything to another level. His list of victims over his first twenty-one WrestleMania appearances is a who€™s who of WWE legends. At 21-0, his win-loss record was affectionately referred to as The Streak. Last year, on the road to WrestleMania 30, Brock Lesnar stepped up to the plate. Many fans, myself included, saw it as a foregone conclusion that The Undertaker would find a way to conquer The Beast. Suffice it to say, we at home were left as speechless as the capacity crowd in New Orleans. The Undertaker, wobbly from the beating dished out by the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, looked like he was going to deliver a game-ending Tombstone Piledriver. Lesnar astonishingly reversed the death blow and threw an F-5 €“ his third of the match. When the referee€™s hand hit the mat for a count of three, jaws were on the floor. The live crowd reacted as if something had gone wrong. It hadn€™t sunk in that The Streak was over. Heading into WrestleMania 31, The Undertaker€™s record sits at 21-1, but I€™ll be damned if The Streak isn€™t the greatest string of victories the business has ever seen.
