What, because after Elimination Chamber this somehow feels like a demotion?

A living monument of how Vince McMahon can't even adequately support the wrestlers he enjoys let alone the ones we all might, Braun Strowman - Braun Strowman - is damaged good thanks to a chronic 2018/2019 stint that actually kicked off at the 'Show Of Shows' last April.

His comedy pairing with young Nicholas made for a cracking visual, but the company never thought beyond the comedy for 'The Monster Among Men' and a post-SummerSlam heel turn finally derailed what had for too long been a train threatening to run off the tracks.

He is now - and forever will be - a man pinned by Baron Corbin, thanks to a villainous strategy that had actually served him well just a few months earlier. Beating just one midcarder on the 'Grandest Stage' won't suffice in erasing that memory - he's got to take down every goober going to try and kickstart the next 12 months.

Supplies are fortunately high on that front. The Raw midcard in particular is a graveyard for failed pushes. Getting hoyed over the ropes to further Strowman's cause won't exactly work wonders for Elias, Lashley et al, but they're secondary concerns now anyway. "Get These Hands" won't cut it anymore - WWE need to Fix This Mess.
