13 Wrestlers Subjected To Heat From The Undertaker

9. The Whole Of WCW

One of the things that bonded Undertaker and Vince McMahon so much was a mutual loathing of WCW. Undertaker, more than any other WWF wrestler, hated the southern competition. He seemed to take it extra personally when WCW was kicking WWF's ass, and he worked hard to ensure he and his peers put up a good fight back. He was also firmly loyal to the WWF, refusing to jump ship to WCW like the rest of his main event colleagues, something which Vince McMahon has acknowledged. It was like the deadman hated WCW with a passion, unable to contemplate joining them or losing to them. That heat perhaps stemmed from his own time down south, from 1989-1990. He wasn't happy there and got to see an uglier side of the business. Whatever resentment he had lingered for over a decade, and when WWF acquired WCW in 2001, he set off on a one man mission to destroy the brand. He was squashing WCW workers for months on end, often-times in unnecessarily stiff matches. Some fans even suggested he was wanting to hurt the WCW guys. However, it should also be noted, Kevin Nash recently said that Taker thought about jumping ship to WCW in 2000.
