12 Wrestlers Without Direction For WrestleMania 33

7. The New Day

Taking the Raw Tag Team Titles away from The New Day at December's 'Roadblock' Pay-Per-View is quickly looking like the worst booking decision WWE made in all of 2016.

Skipping into the history books having broken Demolition's all-time title longevity record just six days earlier, WWE presumably felt the end goal was achieved, and hurriedly shifted the belts onto odd couple partnership Cesaro and Sheamus at Day 483 for the former champions.

Though it initially seemed a perfect way to elevate the relatively new unit, it actually served to massacre the credibility that the mammoth New Day run had established for the titles.

Barely a month after scoring the enormous win, 'The Swiss Superman' and 'The Celtic Warrior' would drop the titles on the Royal Rumble pre-show to the lukewarm Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

Almost immediately in the aftermath of their December defeat, Kofi, Big E and Xavier Woods were robbed of any purpose, and have spent the last month mocking Raw no-hoper Titus O'Neil for no adequately explained reason.

Had they still been champions, now would have been the time to re-up on their heel mannerisms and prime a duo for crowd-pleasing WrestleMania victory.

As tepid babyfaces, it's unclear who (Who? Who? Who? Who?) The New Day can possibly irritate enough to warrant scoring a place on the April 2nd card.
