12 Wrestlers WWE Must Build Their Future Around

1. Cesaro

Antonio Cesaro His 2 out of 3 falls with Sami Zayn was already mentioned. His match with William Regal on NXT was a classic of match psychology. His tag team with Jack Swagger has been stellar. His recent clean win over Randy Orton on Raw lends him some legitimacy for the upcoming Elimination Chamber. Basically, the reason WWE would be wise to feature the former Antonio Cesaro in their future is because he can have a great match with anybody. At 33 years old, he is the oldest on this list. But you wouldn't think it to look at him, he's in better physical shape that half the performers in the locker room. He has competed in independent promotions the world over since the year 2000, and he has competed in absolutely phenomenal matches. Check out this clip with Mike Quackenbush; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_C4S1XOnTY I'm fully aware that that was awesome. Cesaro's biggest strength is his ability to adapt. He can obviously do the strength, we've all seen the Cesaro Swings by now. He can be as technical as anybody in the business, his match with Regal showed that. He allows his European background to influence his move set very heavily, and it does him credit. And if necessary, he can fly a little too. The total package is here. Granted, Cesaro is not going to the most marketable guy out there, I highly doubt that WWE merchandise stands at live shows will sell out of Cesaro gear anytime soon. But the big advantage with him comes even further into the future; he has a background as a wrestling trainer. His protégés were almost exclusively in the Chikara wrestling promotion, but among them were Frightmare and Green Ant, two guys with a bright future if they can make the leap. NXT's trainer is currently Bill DeMott, but really, who would you rather be training the wrestlers of tomorrow, Antonio Cesaro or Hugh Morrus?? There we go, 12 wrestlers who will be the future of WWE. Who else can you think of? Let me know in the comments!
