12 Wrestlers WWE Must Build Their Future Around

5. Big E

By now, you've probably noticed that a lot of these guys are around the same kind of height and build, which is to say, not enormous. This isn't due to internet wrestling fan snobbery, as some are quick to believe. Thing is, these days with the implementation of WWE's wellness policy and mandatory drug testing, a lot less steroids are in the locker room. And while the wellness policy is definitely a good thing that has been proven to save wrestlers lives, the side effect is that WWE being the land of the giants could well be a thing of the past. This is besides people like Big E Langston (or just Big E as he's known now, because we here at WWE do not believe in surnames) who is just a straight up beast. He's been an athlete since high school and has competed in power lifting at the international level, where he actually broke American and international records in his weight class for deadlifting just shy of 800lbs. So yeah, he doesn't need help to look like he does. Big E debuted in NXT, where he developed a very simple gimmick; he was big. I know it seems like the clues in the name, but it worked really well. His theory was that to establish his dominance, he wouldn't just pin opponents for the traditional three count, he would beat them so badly that they would be out for a count of five. This turned into a couple of humorous episodes involving him and the number five. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZprH-1Ugk5o This brings me to another positive point about Big E Langston. As anybody with a twitter account will tell you, the dude is hilarious. Don't believe me? Go to youtube and type in "Big E Langston My Little Pony" A guy who's strong, quick, built like a fridge and can make you laugh? In Big E, Vince McMahon basically has a licence to print money.
