10. Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman (c) Vs. Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler

A really good-not-really great opener gave Clash Of Champions an earthy start, with WWE electing to simply let the simplest formula play out for the most part until Braun Strowman's shoulder hitting steel threw the first major spanner in the works for the babyfaces.

Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler had smartly isolated Seth Rollins up to that point, dodging the 'Monster Among Men' until a hot tag left them knee-deep in sh*t until the big lummox chucked his frame at that magnetic post.

It was here where the company wielded a predictable sledgehammer of plot.

Strowman steamrolled over everybody in a desperate attempt to make good on his earlier error, inadvertently taking out Rollins as he wiped out Roode. 'The Show Off' somehow managed to keep the giant out of the way after a low bridge - or at least freed up the three seconds needed for 'The Glorious One' to pin 'The Architect' after nailing him with his patented DDT.

Strowman was fairly indifferent about it in his post-match interview, blaming Seth for eating the loss rather than anything that preceded the pin. Better late than never, they were hitting the tension-building tropes just in time.
