5. Battleground - 80,000 Buys

Battleground 2015 was headlined by Brock Lesnar facing Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship. Unsurprisingly, that main event ensured a strong buyrate, with 80,000 customers purchasing the event. John Cena versus Kevin Owens also held some appeal, as did Bray Wyatt versus Roman Reigns. However, only Owens and Cena really lived up to expectations, with the Lesnar / Rollins match petering out as a nine minute beatdown and eventual DQ after The Undertaker's interference. Taker's appearance at the event had leaked out in the days beforehand, so that may have also accounted for some late buys.
