12 WWE Superstars Without Direction Following WrestleMania 33

10. Samoa Joe

It's been an exciting maiden spell for the 'Samoan Submission Machine' since taking out Seth Rollins during his Monday Night Raw debut back in January, but the timing of his arrival and unexpected injury to Seth Rollins in the aftermath did seem to figure him out of WrestleMania plans.

Electing to have Joe be a complete ghost on the broadcast rather than reduced to an appearance in the pre-show Battle Royal, he was fundamentally protected by the decision.

But without a clear current opponent or reason to fight, he risks fading into a bit-part player on the typically stacked Monday Night Raw roster.

Rumblings of a Triple H-led stable alongside Kevin Owens and another member seem to have subsided, especially with 'The Game' possibly taking an annual post-WrestleMania hiatus following his feud-ending loss to Rollins at the 'Show of Shows'.

His stock still remains high, with victories over Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho since his debut creating solid foundations, but a meaningful rivalry is a must for Joe, particularly if Raw is furnished with several of Smackdown Live!'s rising stars.
