Stick with this if the past bazillion years of WWE television hasn't made it clear enough, but the rationale is as follows:

Finn Bálor loses to everybody - everybody - but because he's a big star his aura doesn't diminish. Drew McIntyre beats (nearly) everybody and thus has enough aura to allow a little to diminish to give to Finn Bálor. The same Finn Bálor that allegedly doesn't have a diminished aura. And the same Drew McIntyre that doesn't in fact have enough aura to allow for any diminishing at this point. For the f*cking mind-numbing banter of it all, throw in Dolph Ziggler, a man so immune to aura that even his shiniest tights look dull, to defeat Drew McIntyre on Raw, beat up Finn Bálor and lose his own run-in over the course of seven days.

Same old sh*t this, and the reason Vince McMahon - an actual star with no diminished aura - needs to return to pop a rating because these.

This isn't even 50/50 booking anymore. It's 33/33/33 booking, leaving a remainder of one - Braun Strowman, the man who got himself away from all these f*cking idiots just in time to have another run at Brock Lesnar.
