12 WWE WrestleMania 35 Card Predictions After Survivor Series 2018

Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey is THE match to make at WrestleMania 35.

Minor booking concerns aside, Survivor Series 2018 was a barnstormer of a pay-per-view that wasn't without its flaws, but yielding several stunning highs, with Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair's gritty war of attrition, Daniel Bryan's cunning struggle against Brock Lesnar, and a typically excellent Cruiserweight Title scrap all delivering the goods.

Survivor Series is WWE's last 'Big Four' stop before the Royal Rumble, which, in turn, sets the stage for WrestleMania 35. Next year's 'Show Of Shows' goes down on 7 April. It's too soon to say exactly what'll happen, but WWE's plans typically come together at this time of year. They've probably already formed the bulk of the card in their heads, and after dropping several hints during Survivor Series itself, the road to New Jersey now looks clearer.

Note that this isn't a complete lineup, nor is it an attempt at compiling a dream card. Instead, it's a set of predictions drawn from what happened at Survivor Series 2018, as well as several stories currently doing the rounds in wrestling media, none of which are cast-iron guarantees.

We won't be complaining if some of these come off. Others? Not so much...

12. Kurt Angle Vs. Bobby Lashley

While watching him drag his injury-ravaged body around the ring becomes increasingly difficult every time he decides to lace up the boots, Kurt Angle isn't done competing. 'The Olympic Hero' has spoken openly on his desire to run through a bucket list of "dream" opponents before he finally hangs them up. Thus, we can likely expect more matches like his recent clash with Drew McIntyre - a story-driven encounter that had the Scot literally toying with his ageing opponent.

Angle should prove a nostalgia draw at WrestleMania 35. As diminished as he is, some sects of the audience still want to see him work, even if the old magic isn't there anymore. The problem is that the rest of our card leaves him with few genuinely exciting opponents, hence why he's paired with Bobby Lashley: a pushed commodity, but a guy who has struggled to deliver between the ropes since returning.

Familiar opponents from their shared time in TNA, perhaps Angle and Lashley would be able to concoct an effect clash at 'The Showcase Of The Immortals.' Or maybe it'd stink.

Probably the latter.
