6. Badd Company
Upon his first meeting with his new boss, legendary wrestler and AWA promoter Verne Gagne, the former Olympian remarked that DDP was the biggest manager he'd ever seen. Page towered over Gagne by about seven inches. The tag team of Paul Diamond and Pat Tanaka - collectively known as Bad Company - were scheduled to take the championship from The Midnight Rockers, better known as Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannety. DDP calls Pat one of the best workers he's ever seen, and mentions how both he and Diamond are under 6' tall, so when he had to stand next to them in promos he would stand with his legs spread wide so he wouldn't dwarf them. Dallas tells a story about the first time he encountered one of the fabled Guerrero family members, in this case Mondo. He points out that high flyers are common now but at the time you had very few guys that would employ that type of style. One night, during a match featuring Mondo and Bad Company, Mondo launched himself off the top onto all three members of the opposing team, and he says he'd never seen anything like it.
