13 Things We Learned From DDP On The Steve Austin Show Part 2
5. Fighting A Fan
Mondo also brings up another crazy memory, this time involving a brawl with a fan. During a match that again featured Mondo Guerrero, the Mexican star was caught up in the ropes and unable to get free so Page and the heels started teeing off on him. This brought out all the babyfaces from the locker room to come to his aide, which sent DDP and Bad Company running for cover. Dallas was the first one to take off, and he reminds us that this was Las Vegas in 1988, calling it the "wild, wild west." As he turns the corner he runs into someone who he thinks is another wrestler, and as he prepares to take the bump, the guy legitimately nails him in the jaw. By the time he hits the ground and the guy mounts him DDP realizes it's not another wrestler and he starts fighting back. Before he was able to mount any kind of a comeback the cops came and separated them. "At least he didn't stab me."
