2. Sprint To The Finish

Good grief, was last night's United States Title sprint fun or what?

This three-way was a perfect example of how to make the most out of very little time. Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, and Andrade were granted less than seven minutes between the ropes, yet they absolutely killed it, attacking each other with pace and force from the very first bell and barely letting up until the last.

The trio came out like a hurricane, with the former 'Cien' looking particularly strong. Post-break, we got Truth and Mysterio hitting a Doomsday 'Rana on the rising heel and Andrade powerbombing the United States Champion on the outside. Rey tried his sliding splash but was booted out of the air by Andrade, and the duo's interactions were every bit as electric as those in their singles matches, building hopes that their pay-per-view clash is still somewhere on the horizon.

In more good news, Andrade wasn't even made to eat the pinfall. Mysterio was defeated instead, with Truth rolling him up for the victory, keeping the heel protected after last week's loss to Aleister Black. Encouraging, as he was the main reason this bout was such a hoot.
