1. Shawn Michaels Must Think Mike Tyson Is Going To Take His Face Off
Shawn Michaels was not a happy person heading into WrestleMania 15. He was having to drop the WWF championship to company megastar Stone Cold Steve Austin. Additionally he had a badly fractured back injury and was also dealing with depression. The drug and drink problems are now well documented, Michaels was in a dark place, he was short tempered with fans and often looked out of it at public appearances. To make matters worse, he then gets told that he's going to have to take a punch off Iron Mike Tyson. The boxer was legitimately considered 'the baddest man on the planet' at the time. He was as hard as they come, an absolutely devastating knockout puncher. The spot went down at the end of the Mania match against Austin. Tyson revealed he was backing The Rattlesnake. When Michaels questioned this, Tyson put a punch right on the Heartbreak Kid's jaw. The look on Michaels' face when this went down is priceless. He genuinely looks like he's s******g himself. Would Tyson be stiff? Would he shoot? How bad will it hurt? All those questions ran through Michaels' head. In a final bit of indignity, after dispatching the punch, Tyson covered Michaels' face with a t shirt. It wasn't in the script and HBK blew up about it backstage. It was a night to forget for the greatest pro wrestler of all time.
