13 WWE Title Contenders Who Never Stood A Chance

7. The Great Khali Against Triple H - Summerslam 2008

After The Great Khali€™s highly unpopular run as World Heavyweight Champion in 2007, whenever he was once again inserted into the title picture it was always pretty obvious that he wouldn€™t be walking out with the gold. Perhaps the most obvious of these insertions was when he clashed with Triple H at Summerslam in 2008. With The Game in the middle of what was clearly going to be a lengthy run as WWE Champion, there was no way Khali would prove any obstacle. Of course, WWE did their best to convince fans that Khali could win the match with an early finisher and allowing him to control the majority of the match. But in a way this made it even clearer that Triple H would eventually launch a comeback, in a typical David and Goliath contest.
