14 Epic Moments In The Undertaker And Brock Lesnar's 13 Year WWE Rivalry
8. An All-Star Dream Tag Match - Smackdown 2.10.2003
Look at that lineup right there. WWE would give their right arm to book a match with this amount of star power today. If they were to do so, it would be for a huge PPV, like a WrestleMania or a SummerSlam. Back in October 2003, this was just a routine Smackdown main event. How times change. Undertaker and Kurt Angle took on John Cena and Brock Lesnar in the run-up to No Mercy. 'Taker was again feuding with Lesnar, whereas Angle had an issue with Cena (and had just completed a lengthy programme with Lesnar as well). That's a bunch of intriguing matches at once, also offering a rare chance to see Cena and 'Taker square off. It was a fun, if not formulaic tag match, which featured a scary moment where Angle took a spill over the top ropes and did a half twist, splatting face-first on the ringside mats. In the end, Lesnar blasted Angle with a steel chain to get the win. But that wasn't the end of the matter, oh no: after the match, Brock and 'Taker continued to brawl, ending with Lesnar taking a chokeslam through the Spanish announce table.
