3. Reforming The PTP
As far as what led to the team getting back together, Titus said they both received a text message telling them to bring their Prime Time Players gear to the show, which was after they had each been told several different things for weeks. The guys add that they had constantly been pitching ideas during their time apart, and Darren reveals one of his ideas was to bring back Bob Backlund to serve as his life coach to help him get his career back on track. He points out how hilarious Bob is and thought it would have been funny but the office wasn't interested. Titus talks about how frustrating it is to be spinning your wheels with no direction, saying that he's 38 years old with two sons and didn't come to WWE to just to hang out backstage. He says he legitimately gets p*ssed off when he doesn't get to do anything, adding that some guys are comfortable with that but he truly believes he's a star and wants to contribute.
