From there, the New Day lads decided to reference something inside the WWE bubble.

When they were challenged to a six-man tag by Samoa Joe, Elias and Randy Orton, Xavier, E and Kofi repeatedly used the word "Playa" and asked if the trio wanted a "Tag-Team Match, Playa". This, to longtime fans, was a little gem designed to ape Teddy Long's fascination with tag matches when he was SmackDown GM.

At least they didn't say anyone was going "one-on-one with The Undertaker" and follow it up with a "Holla' Holla'!".
