14 Wild UFC Fights You'd Be A Fool To Miss In January

6. Dan Hooker Vs Michael Chandler - UFC 257

Ever since it was announced that he would be the stand-in for the Khabib Nurmagomedov Vs. Justin Gaethje fight, fans have been paitiently awaiting the UFC debut of Michael Chandler. While there were many potential match-ups floated about, the man to welcome him to the Octagon will be the always impressive, Dan Hooker.

If you've never had the pleasure of watching a Dan Hooker fight, then you're about to witness one of the most attack-minded lightweights on the planet. Whether he's trying to take his opponent's head off with a variety of strikes or attempting to lock in a submission, Hooker's constant barrage of attacks is enough to keep most opponent's on the defensive.

Achieving that against someone like Chandler is a different story though. His wrestling has always been stellar and his knockout power is unquestionable. He is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best fighter to ever be produced by Bellator in its history. However, Hooker will be the toughest test of his long storied career and if Chandler doesn't finish him quickly, he'll need to be ready for a knockdown, drag-out war.
