To Rob Szatkowski's credit, he would have been silly not to take advantage of the fact he's an awesome martial artist who bears an uncanny resemblance to the legendary Jean-Claude Van Damme.

While RVD admittedly hasn't ripped off one of JCVD's movie characters nor does he constantly make references to the guy, it's fair to say that many initially assume he's related to his inspiration, which will naturally heighten his profitability.

Less crass plagiarism and more smart business sense, RVD made a star out of his money-making face, and it sure doesn't hurt that he's also an incredible athlete to boot. As for what JCVD makes of all this? According to RVD, despite several attempts to make contact, he keeps avoiding him. Go figure.
