Since becoming US Champion, Kalisto has seen very little success. He's returned to his midcard tag team with Sin Cara with minimal fuss, and although the luchador is yet to eat a pinfall, he hasn't exactly been made to look strong. Strangely - given WWE's recent trend of booking champions in weak fashion - he's actually the only current champ to be subjected to such treatment. Triple H has of course looked every inch an ass-kicker, while Kevin Owens and the New Day have stayed largely out of trouble, picking up televised wins on a regular basis. Even Charlotte, who hasn't seen as much in-ring action as her major rivals, still seems a strong (if sneaky) champion.
