14 WWE Wrestlers Who Only Cared About The Money

12. The Ultimate Warrior

It is funny that Vince wanted The Ultimate Warrior to succeed Hulk Hogan, because in the sense of being a money grabber, he certainly did that. Warrior was never a wrestling fan, he was a body building guy who saw that money was to be made in pro wrestling. Never once did he particularly care about having good matches. He was all about getting over on colour and energy, the actual matches didn't really matter. He did become pretty big in the early 90's, and was making really good money. But in his own mind, it wasn't enough. He had the audacity to tell Vince McMahon that he wouldn't be showing up for work at SummerSlam 91, if his WrestleMania pay-off wasn't increased to $550,000. While he was at it, he demanded less dates, and a guarantee of always earning the same as Hulk Hogan. McMahon gave in and paid up, then promptly suspended Warrior when SummerSlam was concluded. Warrior didn't bother with pro wrestling again, other than brief runs in 1992, 1996 and 1998, when WWF and WCW were desperate for a bit of star power and coughed up top-tier money.
