14 WWE Wrestlers With The Longest Gaps Between Title Reigns
5. Brock Lesnar - 10 Years, Six Months (3,836 Days)
Before his return to WWE, Brock Lesnar had last held the WWE title in February 2004, when he was famously defeated by Eddie Guerrero. A little over a month later, a disillusioned Lesnar left the company and wrestling altogether.
Following stints in the NFL, NJPW, and, of course, the UFC, Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012. Due to his limited schedule, Brock was kept out of the title picture until 2014, when, after snapping The Undertaker’s Streak, he challenged John Cena for the WWE title. In August 2014, in the most one-sided main event in WWE pay-per-view history, Lesnar regained the title (now unified with the World Heavyweight Title), closing a ten-and-a-half year gap.
