15 Craziest WWE Fan Theories About WCW

6. Big Sexy€™s Chest Pains

Kevin Nash is notorious for being reluctant to job to smaller competitors, which is problematic given the fact that he is seven feet tall. His consistent claim is that losing to a smaller guy would make him look weak and reduce his drawing power, but this excuse didn€™t hold much water when Nash found himself feuding with the Giant. In storyline, Nash was afraid to tangle with someone bigger than him, and this culminated in Nash no-showing Starrcade 1997, the biggest event in WCW history. However, many fans believe that Nash was in fact scheduled to work the show and no-showed for real to avoid losing to the Giant. This theory is actually true, and not even the only story of its kind featuring Big Sexy. Apparently drawing inspiration from the immortal Redd Foxx, Nash called the WCW offices and reported suffering chest pains when it became clear that he wasn€™t getting out of losing. The move worked out well for Nash; he€™d repeat it nearly ten years later in TNA to get out of losing to Chris Sabin, this time claiming that moving a deceptively heavy toybox caused him undue strain.
