15 Most-Decorated WWE Wrestlers To Never Win A World Title
13. Goldust
Titles Held: 3 Intercontinental Championships, 2 WWE Tag Team Championships, 1 World Tag Team Championship Total Title Days: 322* (as of October 19) Despite a series of stops and starts, Goldust is one of the longest-tenured performers on WWEs active roster today. As a result of that longevity, he also is one of the more successful performers. The Bizarre One debuted as a character in 1995 and has appeared off and on with WWE for nearly 20 years, racking up three IC title reigns in the 90s before departing for WCW. When he returned in 2002, Goldust worked his way back into the title hunt, this time as one-half of BookDust, a popular and entertaining pairing with Booker T. The two would capture the World Tag Team Championships that year before disbanding. Goldust would later leave WWE and see-saw between the company and the independent scene for the next decade. The son of the son of a plumber has enjoyed a major career renaissance during the past year, returning full-time to WWE and teaming with his brother, Cody Rhodes to capture the tag titles twice, and currently hold the straps. When Michael Cole uses the cliché that Goldust looks better than ever, its actually not hyperbole.
Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fondly remembers watching WrestleMania III, IV, V and VI and Saturday Night's Main Event, came back to wrestling during the Attitude Era, and has been a consumer of sports entertainment since then. He's written for WhatCulture for more than a decade, establishing the Ups and Downs articles for WWE Raw and WWE PPVs/PLEs and composing pieces on a variety of topics.
