15 Most-Decorated WWE Wrestlers To Never Win A World Title

12. Shelton Benjamin

Titles Held: 3 Intercontinental Championships, 1 U.S. Championship, 2 WWE Tag Team Championships Total Title Days: 774 If you€™re looking for a case of missed opportunity, look no further than Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin already was an accomplished tag team wrestler €“ and two-time tag champ €“ as one-half of Team Angle when he was drafted to Raw in 2004. Big things were projected for the athletic superstar, especially after he beat Triple H three times in a short span. Although that didn€™t lead to a main event-level push, Benjamin would capture the Intercontinental Championship later that year, holding it for 244 days, the longest reign this century. He would add a few more singles titles during the next few years. But a world title would elude the Gold Standard during his eight-year run on the roster. Benjamin certainly had the goods in the ring, and while he wasn€™t electric on the mic, he could talk. It€™s a shame that despite the ability to put on a good show in the ring, he was never given the chance to have a run on top.
