15 Edge And Christian WWE Moments That Totally Reeked Of Awesomeness

7. TLC

During the spring and summer of 2000, Edge and Christian weren't just goofing off with Angle and Foley. They were still wrestling on pretty much every Raw, Smackdown and pay-per-view and their feud with the Dudleys and the Hardys has not dissipated. When they began taking out their foes with steel chairs (they were the 'chairmen' of WWE), Commissioner Foley made the first ever TLC - Tables, Ladders and Chair - match, for SummerSlam 2000. One again, the three teams managed to outdo themselves, raising the bar from their not-too-distant WrestleMania 2000 match. With the added plunder they were able to be even more creative than they had before, coming up with truly state-of-the-art stuff. Of course, Edge and Christian won the match and its sequel, at WrestleMania X-Seven (where the TLC format peaked). One of the most breathtaking moments in TLC history was Edge's psychotic mid-air spear on Jeff Hardy, who was taken out from fifteen feet above the ring. On the Austin podcast Edge and Christian both said that they felt the risks were worth it, but it got to a point where they couldn't raise the bar anymore without somebody getting killed.
