15 Great Heel Versus Heel Matches You Must See

13. The Beverly Brothers vs. Money, Inc. (1993)

There's a good deal of back story to this one. On the early episodes of Raw, the Steiners were the tag team version of Brock Lesnar, two guys who'd show up without warning to drop unqualified challengers on their heads. There was basically no one in early 90's WWE who could realistically challenge them, and two heel tag teams started feuding over that. The Beverly Brothers got suplexed to death by the Steiners, and were subsequently approached by Money, Inc. They wanted to buy some pro tips before their own match with the Steiners, which the Beverlys happily provided. The advice was basically "don't let them suplex you to death", but DiBiase and IRS apparently didn't listen, and the Steiners suplexed them to death. The result was the first heel vs. heel match in the history of Raw, which Money, Inc. won. Because sure, they might get trucked by the legitimate super-athlete version of Scott Steiner, but there's no way Ted and Irwin are losing to the 1993 version of Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy.
