15 Great Wrestlers Who Had Very Brief WWE Careers
3. Awesome Kong (Kharma)
Back when TNA was considered something like a top wrestling promotion, they had a women's division which resembled what WWE is trying to achieve today. They had great wrestlers and compelling storylines and at the centre of everything was Awesome Kong. A dominant gladiator who destroyed all of her opponents with an array of eye-catching moves.
By 2010 she had grown tired of TNA and asked for her release, stating that money issues and a change of management were behind her decision. In December of that year, WWE snapped her up and fans were on the edge of their seat to see what the federation would do with this incredible performer.
Sadly things failed to launch for Kong, who was now going by the name of Kharma. She interrupted a few women's matches but just weeks after her run started, she announced that she was pregnant and would have to leave the company.
Kharma would make her in-ring debut in the 2012 Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant but it would be her only match ever for the WWE. She was eventually released in September 2013 bringing to an end a strange, unfulfilling and somewhat tragic run.
