At the dawn of 2015, the narrative of this match would have been, "young cocky heel Tyler Breeze vs. now-mellowed veteran Johnny Mundo", but in the last months of the year, things are quite different. After years as nondescript fan favorite, Johnny is back to 100% RUDO POWER, including the return of Melina. He should probably bring back his paparazzi entrance, too. Meanwhile, Breeze is only weeks removed from a nasty quarter-life crisis, wherein any momentum he built was taken away by a star from another promotion. Right now, Johnny is the poster boy for big fishes and small ponds, making him the perfect target for Prince Pretty's ire.
